Intervention Instruction, Inc., is fully licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (DASA), to provide this program (license #: A-0098-0008-A). Step 3: Registration
To complete the DUI Class Online, you will need to READ THIS WEB PAGE CAREFULLY and agree to the terms and conditions of the class. When you accept the terms of the class, you will be directed to a secure online form requesting personal and billing information, as well as details about your arrest. Please be sure to print a copy of this entire page and your registration information for future reference.
Upon successful registration, you will be given a link to download your course material with instructions on how to install and run the course.
Refund Policy
No refund will be issued once the course has been activated (with the first log-in session).
Criteria for Admission
Prior to enrollment, you must have a copy of your completed Alcohol and Drug Evaluation Uniform Report indicating that Risk Education has been recommended and fax it to 773-404-9750 or scan and email it as a single PDF document (click here to email).

Responsibilities
In order to derive maximum benefit from this program, we ask that you give each session your full attention. You are expected to complete each quiz, activity and homework assignment to the best of your ability.
You have 30 days to complete the four (4) sessions. There is a 48-hour lockout between each session to allow for review of your responses and session participation. While Intervention Instruction, Inc., will attempt to notify you via email regarding your progress, it is your responsibility to complete this program within the 30-day time frame.
Sobriety and Drug Free Requirements During Class
As a client undergoing education for DUI, you are expected to abstain from all mood altering chemicals, including alcohol or any medication not legally prescribed by a licensed physician, prior to or during each session. This includes over the counter products containing or smelling like alcohol.
The ultimate success of your education rests in your efforts and willingness to cooperate.
Criteria for Disqualification
Random security questions will be asked throughout the course. If correct answers are not given in an appropriate amount of time, you will be locked out of the course, terminated from the program and referred back to your evaluating agency.
Please keep in mind that your responses to all questions, exercises and homework assignments will be internally tracked and reviewed. Any client deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs is subject to termination from the program.
If your post-test score results in less than 75%, you will be allowed to re-take the test two (2) more times. Failure to pass after three (3) attempts will disqualify you from Online Risk Education for DUI Offenders, and you will be referred back to your evaluating agency.
DUI Class Online Schedule and Content
The class’ four (4) sessions must be completed in sequence. Each session should last approximately two-and-a-hour (2.5) hours. Between each session, you will be locked out of the program for 48 hours. From the time you log-in to begin the class, you must complete it within 30 days.
You will be required to take a pre-test and a post-test. You must obtain a passing grade of 75% or higher on the post test. In addition, each session will require that you complete essay homework assignments.
This program meets all Illinois state requirements and will include the following topics:
- Alcohol as a drug.
- Physiological and pharmacological effects of alcohol and other drugs, including their residual impairment on normal levels of driving performance.
- Other drugs, legal and illegal, and their effects on driving when used separately and/or in combination with alcohol.
- Substance abuse/dependence and the effect on individuals and families.
- Blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level and its effect on driving performance.
- Information about Illinois driving under the influence laws and associated penalties.
- Factors that influence the formation of patterns of alcohol and drug abuse.
- Information about referrals for services that can address any identified problem that may increase the risk for future alcohol/drug related difficulty
Program Completion
In order to successfully complete this program, you must complete each session, including each quiz, activity and homework assignment. You must achieve a score of at least 75% on the post test.
Upon successful completion, and approval by a Certified Alcoholism and Drug Counselor, a DUI Risk Education Certificate of Completion will be mailed to you. Or, you may request a faxed copy of your Certificate of Completion.
Client records are kept on file for a period of 5 years. Additional copies of your DUI Risk Education Certificate of Completion will be available for $10 each (no exceptions).
Due to the confidential nature of this program, please read the following information and check the box below if you agree to the terms. You will then proceed to the Registration Form.
RELEASE OF INFORMATION
I authorize Intervention Instruction, Inc., to disclose my attendance record, verification of completion of DUI Risk Education, Alcohol/Drug Evaluation Uniform Report or any material specific to my case to Illinois or my individual state’s DUI court officials, the Illinois Office of the Secretary of State and the Department Of Human Services for the purpose of adjudicating and court monitoring of DUI cases, drivers license issues and for monitored licensed services.
The purpose and need for this disclosure is to assist the Court in monitoring, facilitation of court ordered services and the resolution of my case in court.
This date, event, or condition upon which this consent will expire without my express revocation shall be one (1) year from the date of consent, which is of duration no longer than reasonably necessary to realize the purpose for which this consent is given.
I further understand that such disclosure shall be limited to information necessary in light of the need or purpose for the disclosure.
I further understand that Title 21 U.S.C. 1175 and the 42 CRF Part 2 requires that information relapsed pursuant to this consent remains subject to the restriction that it not be further disclosed or used for any purpose other than as stated hereon without my specific written consent, or as otherwise permitted by federal law.
