Company History
Founded in 1974, Intervention Instruction, Inc., was originally created as a DUI risk reduction and prevention program to meet the demand for remedial alcohol education classes in Cook County, IL.
Since risk reduction education was the core of the court-ordered DUI program, Intervention Instruction originally focused its resources and expertise on the first-offender population. Our founders based that decision on the core belief that a first DUI offense creates a uniquely educable moment in the life of the offender. The first-time offender is considered to be more open to changing his or her behavior concerning drinking and driving.

DUI Class Now Available Online
The Intervention Instruction Risk Reduction education program has been so extraordinarily successful that the program was transformed to a virtual classroom in 2004. Now, DUI Class Online makes the same proven program available online and for any risk group.
A not-for-profit corporation, Intervention Instruction offers reduced fees for financially distressed DUI offenders. For more information, see our DUI Class FAQ for scholarship information.
